Kilyanek Lab

University of Arkansas

Welcome to the Kilyanek Lab at the University of Arkansas.

Our group works at the interface of inorganic, organic and physical chemistry to develop catalytic systems and discover new modes of small molecule activation. By developing an understanding of catalytic processes, we can establish sustainable routes to chemical compounds, avoiding stoichiometric reagents and reducing necessary energy input.

This research program is based in organometallic chemistry. We explore the chemistry of the transition metals, employing a variety of techniques to synthesize and study reactive species.

Please contact us if you are interested in joining our efforts!
